The new curriculum for the M.A. programme in Study of Religions (Religionswissenschaft), published in the University of Vienna's bulletin in April 2024, will come into effect on October 1, 2025, and can be viewed here. This curriculum applies to all students who begin their studies in the winter semester of 2025/26.

Students who, at the time of the enactment of this curriculum, were subject to the previously valid Master's curriculum "Religious Studies" (bulletin from February 4, 2008, 12th issue, No. 70) are entitled to complete their studies by October 31, 2027, at the latest.
